The Tobit Software is a European manufacturer of standard software for offices, middle-sized companies and for private users. The company is located in the western Muensterland.Tobit Software was founded in 1986 by Tobias Groten as a one-man company in Ahaus in Westphalia. The then 18-year-old young entrepreneur made first steps with programs operating agricultural feeding computers and job processing systems. With his first telex adapter for computer networks he began his consequential way towards the field of communication software. Even at that time his vision was clear-cut: developing standard software, to simplify and rationalize the work flow in office environments.
