I am a consultant and presently a scientist at Cocoa Research Center, Brazil where I develop mathematical models for Agriculture and natural systems. I have a Master's Degree in Nuclear Energy and a Doctor in Entomology. I have been working in different Brazilian organizations as the Center for Nuclear Energy in Agriculture, the National Research Center for Temperate Agriculture and the Cocoa Research Center, mostly in the development of mathematical models for Agro-ecological systems. From 1994 to 2001 my activities were closely related to phytosanity, as Technical Secretary of the Southern Cone Plant Protection Committee. I have published more than 60 scientific paper and developed several scientific software. Presently I also teach graduated courses on environmental modeling at the State University of Santa Cruz. I have been developing several professional applications for Windows and several freeware that I developed for fun or as by products from my professional activities.
