The PowerPC/PPC platform is still a viable platform that compares well against any of the existing Intel based Macs.
Since the official version of SeaMonkey as built by The Sea Monkey Project ( http://www.seamonkey-project.org/ ) no longer directly supports the PowerPC/PPC platform,
the purpose of seamonkey-ppc is to maintain a working version of the SeaMonkey browser suite running on PowerPC/PPC based Macs running Mac OS X 10.5.x and is provided by myself via the hhtp://code.google.com project site.
