Revcad Ltd are a world leading, UK based developer of specialised
engineering CAD design and manufacturing software, primarily for the
sheet metal and construction industries, with a particular specialist
capability in the design and unfolding of complex sheet metal designs.
The company began in 1987 under the directorship of Trevor Maddison,
releasing their flagship product 'Sheet Lightning' in 1990 (now on
version 6). Since then other products have been added and their software
has developed and diversified to address many areas of design both for
the engineering fraternity, but for many other industries, including
many niche applications of their products. These applications range from
major projects; such as the development of specialised conduit for
controlling the water flow through hydro-electric power stations, to
model ship pattern development, to playground equipment, to lampshade
design.
