Established in 2004 and previously known as "Phoenix Freeware Online", Phoenix Online Studios is widely known in the industry as a leader in independent, pro-bono based projects. Our first project, "The Silver Lining" (formerly "King's Quest IX: Every Cloak Has A Silver Lining"), made headlines worldwide in December 2005.Phoenix Online Studios now drives towards the future with the upcoming release of "Shadows", the first part of The Silver Lining. It has also started pre-production on original product-lines, not only in the area of gaming, but in other forms of media as well. The company is currently looking into establishing a physical facility in the USA.
