Philip Wernersbach is an avid GNU/Linux user and enthusiast. Unhappy with current real-time enterprise distributions, he decided to build one based on the powerful and stable Slackware Linux. The distribution eventually became robust enough that he decided to release it to the public as Pack4Linux.
