My company is a sole proprietorship. I am the owner, operator, and programmer. I first began in business in the 1980s under the name of P&M Software company, and my first product was a program called GTPower, a BBS and email program for DOS computers. My latest effort (now that I am retired) is a program to play audiobooks. It offers pitch and speed controls, just like the machines the library gives to the blind - I have such a machine, because I have been legally blind for the last few years. I use ZoomText to access the computer, which was given to me by the Dept of Veterans Affairs - my blindness is related to my service in the Air Force during the Vietnam War.
