Nova Media
The founders of nova media Mobile Data Solution GmbH started their business in 1996 in Berlin, concentrating on development of Hard - and Software for PC, PDA and Apple Macintosh as well as distribution services.
Soon Mobile High Speed, a mobile Internet connection wizard for Mac OS and Palm OS, became a flagship product for nova media and nova media became market leader in the GM solutions for Mac OS. In the next move, the worldwide first support for EDGE and 3G UMTS connections for Mac OS was introduced.
Shortly after the nova media MDS GmbH was founded in June 2002 to hire more employees and ensure high standards in development, marketing and support. T-Mobile, Vodafone and Sony Ericsson decided to license Mobile High Speed and to provide a solution for its Mac OS customers.
In 2006, nova media launched the successor of Mobile High Speed, called launch2net with support of HSDPA and Intel-Macintosh computers.
Today, the business of nova media is threefold.
