Natara Software was founded in 1998 in Naperville, Illinois to provide applications and development services to the handheld device market. Natara's first product, Project@Hand, was developed to provide project managers the convenience of "on-the-go" information collection. Following Project@Hand, Natara released DayNotez journaling application (and one of Handheld Computing Magazine's Best Products of 2002), and the outliner program, Bonsai, another Handheld Computing Top Pick. Natara's most recent releases include: Project@Hand 2, a new project management application featuring an advanced scheduling engine; Bonsai 4, a major update to Bonsai with a long list of new features, and two new products, Comet, a communications log for owners of Handspring Treo Communicators, and DatePak, an innovative calendar distribution product.
