Myfixlog.com was created by a Christian Missionary who was inspired by the 'Do It Yourself' ingenuity of missionaries who have taken on many challenges in order to spread the Gospel of Christ. For example, Nate Saint's problem was getting gifts safely to a violent and remote tribe. The fix: lowering a bucket of beads out of a plane flying in tight circles which caused the bucket to remain almost stationary as he lowered it and allowed the tribe to not just receive but also give gifts. During my time on the mission field I have come up with a few fixes of my own and usually after first doing research on the internet. So in an effort to 'give back' I posted my $300 solar water heater project on my personal blog and when I realized that it would pay off sooner in ad revenue than it would in energy savings, the idea for myfixlog.com was born.
