The idea is to create something that fills a gap in the software space, both general software or video games. Rolling Total started out after being frustrated when I realised how there is no actual software that easily allows users to find a total, and keep track of what they entered. Spreadsheets are too slow, calculators can lead to the user forgetting what they have already typed in.
