Innobits is a young company formed 2001 in Sweden, but the ideas took place back early in 1995 when part of the Innobits R&D team together was engaged in a different considerable company within the broadcast industry Research and Development.
Loaded with a lot of experience from the digital Audio and Video field, including patented methods of seamless splicing MPEG2 Transport Streams, Noise Canceling and other MPEG areas, we decided to launch our old ideas and bring our knowledge together. Innobits then was put into shape.
Encouraged by the sub-optimal quality performance of some current available MPEG2 Encoders, we just had to tap our own insights and abilities to produce an alternative for people who need to be rather particular about how their precious bits are spent. Our first in a series of bit-conserving and quality-enhancing tools is the BitVice MPEG2 Encoder.
