The Group of Thermal Systems Research and Design (IMST) of the Polytechnic University of Valencia consists of professors and investigators, most of them from the Department of Applied Thermodynamics of the E.T.S.I.I. The activities of the group are basically centred on the field of heat transfer, and the calculation and computing of flows and thermal systems in general, with application fields that range from refrigeration and the air conditioning, to internal combustion engines. The IMST collaborates with other universities and research centers, such as the Carlos III of Madrid, Rhr University in Germany, KTH in Sweden, ENEA in Italy, as well as with companies like CIATESA, Modine, ASPEN Techonologies, or FASA RENAULT.The IMST group has already developed several projects in collaboration with public bodies as well as private organizations that support R&D projects.
