iCyte answers the question what do I do with the web pages I find on the internet. Prior to iCyte, there was very little you could do. Maybe bookmark it or copy and paste the information. iCyte was created after its founders, Graham Smith and Stephen Foley, saw first hand the benefits of annotating documents. In Graham's earlier creation, LiveNote, lawyers would annotate transcripts that were often hundreds of pages in length to find the portions of it that were most relevant to their case. In early 2007, Graham and Stephen started iCyte to apply the concept of annotations to the broader market of doing research on the internet. The product has evolved since then to incorporate the saving of webpages and collaboration features.
