Gipsa-lab is a French joint research unit of CNRS, Grenoble-INP, Joseph Fourier University and the University Stendhal, it has an agreement with INRIA, the Observatoire de Grenoble and the University Pierre Mendes France.
Stronger than 300 people including over a hundred doctoral students, GIPSA-lab is a multidisciplinary laboratory developing basic research and finalized on signals and systems. He is internationally recognized for his research in Automatic, Images and Signal, Speech and Cognition and is developing projects in strategic areas of energy, environment, communications, intelligent systems, health and the linguistic engineering. By the nature of his research, Gipsa-lab maintains a constant link with the economic environment through a strong partnership. Potential teachers and researchers is invested in training at universities and engineering schools in Grenoble.
