I am 26 years old and am currently working at Google in Sydney. Before that I worked at Navman Technology in Auckland; before that I was doing a computer science degree at The University of Waikato. I apologise for the picture of me over there, but it was the most serious photo of me I could find.
My programming history started with HTML in 2000, and that year I moved on to actual programming in JavaScript. In 2002 I started learning C++, and it has been my 'native language' ever since. Most of what I did at university was in either C# or Java (sadly). At Navman I primarily used C++ and Java, with a bit of Objective-C thrown in. So far at Google it's been Java (Android) all the way.
