To put it simply, CheckMySpecs is a software working with the web application site created by two people in the UK interested in computers, hardware and programming. The first version of the app was created in late 2008 and after some testing was released in beta earlier 2009 to the public. Since then we've continually been improving on the app and website and with the help of some friendly people, CheckMySpecs is starting to become more and more popular around the PC hardware / online scene. We're both running this project with the aim of helping users find out more about computers and to aid in learning what makes a better system. From 2009, Mihai Lucian Ionescu took the lead in developing the software further more . Now the site changed to CheckMySpecs.co.uk and the application is at version 3 with a new graphical interface being more web 2.0.
