2008 will be our twenty-fifth anniversary in commercial software of one kind or another: desktop, server, Internet (though in their beginnings all these were called by other names). We have long since lost interest in the mysteries and far reaches of technology except as they take us into the mysteries and far reaches of people connected by technology.
