As we began preparing for the birth of our son in 2002, we were increasingly excited about the prospect of sharing the news and joy of his arrival and life with the people we loved.Shopping for "everything baby" became our mission (and passion!). We were curious about options for hosting a baby-related web site that would make it easy for a busy new family to update a large group of people with minimal effort. We were surprised to find that there were very few options available. In fact, none of the options seemed to meet our needs at all.We immediately went to work researching and planning a web site that would allow parents an easy way to stay in touch with their friends and family. Our site, 18 months in the making, is the product of talking with parents and trying to discover their needs. We know Baby's First Site will help keep you connected to the people you love -- we only wish we had finished it years ago!
