However, I cannot give this product a good rating yet because it has scrambled the playlists on my 2G iPod (with latest updates). After I ran the utility, and deleted some duplicate songs and one playlist, it gave me a dialog to update the playlists. I said OK, and when I turned the iPod on again there were only 4 playlists, followed by '&gt;' on a stray line. There is definitely an error in the playlist XML (or related area) somewhere. The songs were still accessible from Albums. I also had problems playing the songs directly from the program, the play button apparently has a very small detection zone...it took several tries. I will be glad to re-evaluate this at a later time, but for now, use caution.

However, this app saved my day! The best part about it, is that it is installed ON your iPod which means you always have it with you. Fantastic feature! I had some questions to the developer, which he answered within hours. Talking about good support. Its freeware, but do send this guy some cash. :) Higly recommended to all iPod users!

  This review was originally posted on VersionTracker.com.<br />this is a good idea to have two apps (mac and win) to do stuff like this. One bug I found so far. In the main window the first two playlists are identical and after that ist displaced one list! 1=correct, 2=1, 3=2, 4=3, ... Second I would like to see the copy-function preferenced, so that you don't have to set the three popup menus again everytime. Hope this app will be developed further. Thanks!
