Used Xenzia Control Panel for Windows?
Editors’ Review
This freeware attempts to create a control panel to browse files, view system information and send e-mails, but it falls short with every function. Xenzia Control Panel's interface resembles a large tabbed dialog box. Information is primarily static, and tool tips are nonexistent. The time and date are rendered accurately in the program header, but total available memory doesn't match what Windows reports.
A promised sound card checker simply failed to work on our test machines. The e-mail sender tab could not send e-mail for those using unauthorized SMTP servers. The file browser lacks all the expected commands seen in Windows Explorer, except for back and forward buttons. Changing the default file view requires a select menu command for each opened folder.
The program required a Windows .NET framework download, but the installation wasn't excessive. With this freeware, you unfortunately get what you paid for. There are numerous widgets and programs that accomplish what Xenzia Control Panel fails to deliver.
