  - A bit unrefined. You can see the video-playback window be scaled to full-screen when the screen saver kicks in. - No features - No video playlist - Can't mark the "beginning" and "ending" of the desired sequence

  Summary

  I've been using this screen saver over the years and can confirm it works under Windows 7, 8, 8.1, and 10. If you're having trouble getting this screen saver working, ensure you have installed the DirectX Redistributable and a Codec Pack such as the K-Lite Codec Pack found on FileHippo. If there are errors, it may be due to the file itself or the codec installed on your system.

  Pros

  It comes in a small executable, trying to be positive here... only 641 KB! But... that's let down by the fact it doesn't work.

  I used .avi and .wmv format videos.....avi shows a image of the intro of the video and .wmv is totally blank(black screens)

  I must say,this is worse than instantstorm,at least those Screensaver that i made using Instantstorm works,but LQ.

  Pros

  Looked like a great way to display (screensaver) video I had taken using MP4, preview worked perfectly.

  Cons

  Crashes, never comes up, both computers. Get back to my desk and it says: "stopped unexpectedly", never to display video as a screensaver on its own, on either computer.

  Summary

  Doesn't work. I am very happy for those that it does work for, but for me, on two different computers, two different operating systems, it does not work.

  Pros

  It is excellent for making screensavers from favorite videos.

  Cons

  I can't save each individual screensaver as a file. The program only allows for one video to be used through the program in the control panel.

  Summary

  I would really love it if I could actually save my screensavers in a separate file so I could easily switch them in a couple clicks.

  Simple to use and minimal size. Doesn't include any demo videos to waste download time/space on your hard disk. Works with Windows 7 64bit

  none - seems okay. No virus problems detected with MCSE.

  Triggered virus scanner.

  Summary

  Perhaps the coding for this application merely coincidentally resembled a virus. It's odd that no other screen saver I've ever installed has, but it's possible. Regardless, I will not install this until and unless there is a CNET official clear-of-virus statement, and an explanation from the publisher, or it is re-written to not trigger a virus alert.
