Used Tinder for Android?
Editors’ Review
Tinder lets you browse hundreds of local singles for quick matchmaking, but it might not be your ideal way to meet people. You're stuck judging people solely on their looks and limited interests, which makes it tough to make real connections. Still, you won't find many quicker ways to make a date or hook up.
This is a dating app that thrives on its quick "Yes or No" judging of a potential match. The app pulls info from your Facebook -- which is required to sign up -- including a few pictures, your About Me, and your likes. You can change the pictures and the opening statement, but that is the only thing you can change about your profile -- so you can't answer questions to improve your match options or anything that is present in other dating sites. As you're browsing users, you can see if they share friends with you and give them a "Like" or "Next." If they "Like" you, you two can begin chatting and set up a date. Tinder is very smooth; we were able to browse through a dozen profiles in what seemed like seconds. The app brings you closer to finding a perfect match.
It's hard to imagine that a picture and a short statement are enough to find the love of your life, though. Tinder is reminiscent of the impulsive, hot-or-not-style rating of early online and speed dating. If that's how you like to meet people, then this app is a stylish, secure way to do it.
