It operates on voucher-driven entries, produces books and registers, and supports a configurable chart of accounts with cost centers and classes. Its inventory features are multi-location stock and reorder tracking. Compliance modules support GST and related statutory reports.

Its banking features include bank ledger mapping, statement import, and reconciliation. Remote access and data synchronization operate via Tally.NET. TallyPrime succeeds Tally.ERP 9, with migration tools available. Reporting includes drill-down statements, audit utilities, and data exchange through export and ODBC.

Simplify compliance

TallyPrime Accounting uses vouchers (sales, purchases, receipts, payments, etc.). Ledgers support cost centers, budgets, and bill-wise tracking. Price levels and price lists manage rate variation. Multi-currency handling records and restates balances. Recurring entries can be cloned or scheduled through voucher features. Books and statutory registers are generated from the duplicate source entries, and drill-down navigation maintains a consistent document-to-report path throughout the process.

Inventory management defines stock items, groups, categories, and multiple locations. Batches and lots capture MRP, expiry, and manufacturing details. Reorder levels and shortage views track replenishment. Manufacturing flows use bills of materials, stock journals, and job-work in/out to move components and finished goods. Order processing handles quotations, orders, and delivery/receipt notes linked to invoices. Valuation generates stock movement reports by item, location, and period.

Compliance modules prepare GST returns and related statutory statements, with tax masters, rule-based calculations, and audit utilities. TDS/TCS, payroll, and professional tax components are available where enabled. Banking features include setting up a bank ledger, importing statements, and automating reconciliation. Connectivity uses Tally.NET for remote access and data synchronization. However, cross-version data sync is limited to the same central line. Reporting offers drill-down statements, configurable filters, and data export (formats/ODBC).
