  Accolade could have done so much more with this installment of Star Control than this. How can I say this? Because the game is buggy, the story is not as good, the sound is better, and the funny quirky lines in SC2 are nonexistent in SC3. This isn't to say Star Control 3 is a bad game; it had to build off of one of the best games ever made, and it simply didn't live up to its predecessor.

  Even though it did not quite meet my expectations, it was a pretty cool game. I have to agree with the other comments I've seen,though, SC2 was the best.

  The game play is still good, and getting rid of StarCon 2's long hyperspace delays was good, but the game also seems to have lost some of the charm of the first two.
