  The plugin is a tool of convenience for SitePal customers. It simplifies and automates the process of integrating SitePal speaking avatars into a powerpoint presentation. Yes - it does require a SitePal account.

• INFILTRATED MY COMPUTER, (is that a clue?)

  Pros

  It appeared kind of nifty to use, but I had to do a complete reinstallation of my OS, in the long run.

  Cons

  I attempted to delete it and found thousands of attachments that overwhelmed my system. A TOTAL OPERATING SYSTEM RESTORE HAD TO BE PERFORMED! WHATCH OUT.......

  Great description for a plug-in... It sounds like you will get to use this download to insert avatars into your .ppt file, and you do. However, you must purchase the avatar in order to do it.

  Cons

  This download is deceptive advertising at its best. Don't waste the bandwidth downloading it unless you are certain you want to pay for Sitepal's services!

• Very Useful Business Tool for Adding Animated Characters

  Pros

  Great for animating a powerpoint with a virtual spokesperson. Uses Oddcast.com 's product called SitePal. You can even turn your own photo into a speaking character avatar. take a look at sitepal.com

  Cons

  This is not free, you have to buy a trial.

  Cons

  It isn't free. One must first subscribe to the very expensive sight pal program before the powerpoint plug-in can be used. They really should state that in the limitations or necessary products section.
