Simplenote is a bare-bones iOS app for creating basic notes and lists. It automatically syncs your notes across your devices and makes them shareable with colleagues. You can also search them via tags and pins.

Easy to use: Some note-taking apps come with an overwhelming number of features to sift through. Simplenote is much easier to work in: Just launch the app and start capturing ideas as notes or lists.

Con

Too featureless for some: If you're aiming to capture photos, drawings, Web clippings, or voice recordings, or if you want to add fancy formatting, then look for a more robust note app.
