Developer’s Description
Service Pack Manager is an automated network security patch management tool. It allows you to patch security vulnerabilities and stability problems in Windows NT/2000/XP/2003 and additional Microsoft products, such as IIS, Exchange Server, SQL Server, ISA Server, IE, Office products, Outlook, and Windows Medial Player. It remotely detects, tracks, monitors and installs patches on enterprise networks from a central console. Included in version 7 is capability to manage Windows Firewalls (now part of XP SP2 and 2003 SP1) on your LAN down to the level of ports and programs. You can scan your network to determine current state of Windows Firewalls, then comprise your own Windows Firewall settings (policy) and push it to hundreds or thousands of machines on your LAN in a matter of minutes. Service Pack Manager does not require Active Directory and Group Policies. It does not require any kind of scripting. Service Pack Manager does not install any agents on remote machines.
Version 7.1.1.3 improves scanning engine, adds support for Microsoft Office 2002 & 2003.
