Developer’s Description
Computer Clusters extend computing power to nearly boundless. It is only limited to amount of computing units can be built into clusters. It is an architecture which computing power of single computing unit can be overlooked. It is a catch for light computing units become highly energy efficient and yet powerful enough. The way of measuring clusters computing power would be different from SMP single computing units. This is Scimark Processors series extending to clusters for Linux systems based on 32-bit and 64-bit nodes. It aims to make a reasonable benchmark for clusters, showing and comparing their computing power to traditional SMP single computing units. In order to make the software running, basic clusters need to be setup and MPI packages also need to be configured well. The results will be filed every a run onto master node.
Within the package, there are two packs for Implementation of OPENMPI / MPICH respectively. It may suit different cluster environment and hellp to understand diversity of MPI.
