SWF2Video converts Macromedia Flash to video including all movie clips, action scripts, and human interactions in Flash movies. It is used to create high-quality flash-based VCD/DVD, or it can be used to import Flash into Adobe Premiere or After Effect for editing. It allows users to specify the dimension and the start/end frame numbers to convert. It also allows the interaction on Flash content during conversion. By setting the parameters among the compression methods installed in the Windows system, this application allows designers to convert SWF to AVI with qualities best fit to their requirements. Since the program won't skip frames during conversion, the resulting video's quality won't be sacrificed. In this new release, SWF2Video records the audio track of the SWF file and then mixes the audio data into the output video file. By the above two-phase processes, the program uniquely supports the audio conversion feature from Flash to video. It also allows a user to specify an external audio file to add to the output video.

Pros
1. You can UNINSTALL from the START menu.
Cons
1. It doesn't perform the very function it's designed and advertised to do
2. In the help file there is a FAQ sections. When asked WHY it's so expensive, they reply "because we're the BEST!" Yah! Riiiiight!
Summary
I wasted HOURS on this useless piece of $hit! I tried every different configuration imaginable. I read the entire help file form beginning to end, still with no success. I wish I could upload the results of my labor but I'll just have to paint you a picture.
The AVI output file looked like it was created in 2 parts. The first part, split the screen into 4 section which appear to be swapped to opposite sides of the screen and the bottom 2 quadrants had serious color distortion. To make matters worse the sound is just a really annoying distorted buzzing and crackling that's enough to give you a head ache. The second part, the video actually looked normal but there's absolutely NO SOUND. To top it off, it's actually the very beginning of the video repeated.
To make matters worse, a 3 MB swf file turned into a 4.2 GB file. So unless you've got the equivalent of all the server farms owned by Google, MicroSoft, and Yahoo combined, you probably wouldn't want to convert more than 10 or so files.
I can't serious believe that the people that created this software are legitimate programmers. This software seems more like a Nigerian than a legitimate software company.<br /><br /><span class='notifyMsg'> Updated </span>on Feb 14, 2011<p/>I meant to say Nigerian SCAM in my review, but there's no edit feature on this site. I havent found other programs that do this so smoothly. I've not tried this with interactive flash yet though, or those with sound.
Audio wasn't acceptable

Summary
Experimented with all settings, but the audio quality in the converted avi file was never acceptable, even if the original audio in the swf file was pristine.
Seemed like a good product other than that - some of the other negative comments are lame (the cross is only in the demo, and swish can't do the audio at all).
