This is the software that came with the Brother MFC-9970CDW for Mac for OCR. English recognition was okay, with some errors, once I got Preview to rotate the page and copy it back into this software. Spanish recognition was unusable. More errors than correct. No way to rotate a page. Ever try to scan a book sideways for OCR without a rotate feature? Website support badly organized and no user forums to help you along. Even the manual alluded to certain features I could not find, but they were features necessary to use a scanner.
Summary
Good document organizer, but if you need OCR, keep looking. This software is frustrating.

Page viewer did not work on OEM version. Bought full version. Page Viewer still did not work. 2 emails to support were ignored. Buy this program at your peril.

None whatsoever.

It wants to select a source - tells me I have an Epson (I have never had one). Tells me it cannot connect. No way to tell it I have a Brother DCP-7055. End of story. Totally useless software.
Summary
How can a 'software' company market software that is patently faulty? How could Brother even think of bundling it with a MF printer/scanner? Why have I had to waste an hour of my time? Just avoid NewSoft or whatever these cowboys call themselves.

Cannot hold a candle to PaperPort Cannot scan and crop on a preview scan- no preview mode OCR Klugy compared to paperport, and not as accurate Virtually no documentation PDF stack and unstack is very useful Slow to start scanner on my machine

I have anew IMAC computer, downloaded this product, and every time I try and scan or do anything, it says that I have no driver installed- except I do! There is absolutely no support on-line, and no customer support number

The product simply doesn't work, and if you have a technical problem , you just go round and round in circles on their website. I used to use Paperport on my PC, and that had a few problems, but at least it worked. Its galling when you spend the money on this product only for it to not work. I felt like I had been robbed!

the whole look and feel of the PageManager is more MAC than the previous versions. Scan and recognition of documents is quicker Easy to use

The PageManager is one of my favorite software, I have been using this software since version 6 and this version is a big upgrade. Can't wait for the professional release.

Scan to PDF, merge and split PDF, supports almost all file types, convert files, can add notes to files.

This is only the SE version. Professional version will be release "soon".

Can't wait till the full or pro version of the PageManager 9. All the features are nice and the UI is designed to look and feel like the MAC OS.
