  The interface is very intuitive and easy to work with. I never even checked out the help files and ripped an entire site 20 minutes after I downloaded it...

  Difficult to configure, takes a long time to download a few pictures and then the pictures are so small you need a magnifier to see them! There are much better picture downloaders on the market than this . I would definitely not recomend this software to anybody.

  Lots of features. Can select directories. Highly customizable. Very quick and good for broadband downloads. Good on password protected sites.

  Not easy to use. Doesn't do a good job with some of the better posting sites. No support for pictures linked through Java. Many programs are simply better and free.

  Often crashes, too expensive. I also tried Picaloader ($49.95), it supports scripts, but very unstable, too. Now I'm using NeoDownloader ($29.95) that does the same job much better.

  Pros

  Features a URL list entry feature allowing you to download massive amounts of stuff from a list of sites using specific settings, without you having to manually enter the settings for each individual site.

  Cons

  I paid $50 for this program and have downloaded a lot with it. However, I've also dealt with annoying program crashes, buggy antipiracy measures (I paid for it, and yet the thing periodically insists that it's the trial version), and 'unknown error's when downloading from certain average web sites for no apparent reasons. I'd be about 90% done downloading a project, and then it would crash, causing wasted time and bandwidth. There are other programs like Offline Downloader that do a much better job (and faster, too) than this one. But unfortunately I'm out the $50 and stuck with this one for the time being.
