• Not easy to use. Expensive. EXE's suspicious in Avast

  Pros

  Powerful application. Only your own imagination limits its uses. Great for GUI on CD's and DVD's

  Cons

  Difficult to master especially for the novice. Expensive piece of kit. Completed EXE files are found to be suspicious in Avast Antivirus which is now the biggest downfall of this program. This is due to the digital signature not being recognized. What is the point of producing something that gives a warning on an end uses computer? Can be got around by purchasing one's own digital signature, but at a price of around $100 a year makes it non viable in my opinion

  Not recommended unless the digital signature is addressed. I have now stopped using the program.

  maybe i aggrieve neobook if i write about it with my bad english language :) so i will let you all try this great RAD and say what you think about it all i can say , you can with it make anytype of application you want not only cds and multimdia...

  Cons

  everything has cons, but believe me, with continuous updates and very large community in its forum, you wont face any problem.. its capabilities very very large with all programming language it suuport, and dont ask about plugins , wow :) just try it

  finally i want to say, in the past i faced many problems with trying to purchase any program , sure not all programs or games worth spend bucks on it, but with neobook i decide to buy it just because it worth its price . and once i recieve license , i forgot all the tired i faced to make it possible to buy it

  Pros

  From a simple slide show to a full up commecial product. It's simplicity belies the power that lies beneath. Powerful enough for seasoned programmers but simply enough for a grade school child. This excellent software grows as you learn how to develop your e-book, training manual, demo program, database viewer - whatever it is I feel comfortable recommending this product. Also, NeoSoftware has first class, responsive and friendly customer service. For less than $200 you get a program that can eat the lunch of others costing $700 - $2000.

  Virtually all the past reviews were posted within a span of a couple days, sound like marketing pitches, and have basically nothing negative to say about the product. <p> <p>I know this space is meant to review the quality of the product itself, but in searching for an authoring tool demo I will spend maybe an hour+ testing out, the reviews are an important source of reference. If you're thinking of trying this demo, be aware that the reviews may not be good to go by.

• Invest days instead months to create your own professional application !

  In just days or few weeks you can produce almost any kind of professional application for what you may need many months with "big" developing software. <p>If you miss a feature, there is a big chance that NeoSofware will build it in next update that comes pretty often.

  Cons

  No bits and bytes with no any bugs. But support is good and board community is very friendly and helpful, so you'll surely find some work around.

  A great tool for rapidly developing virtually any kind of application. This product rocks!!! <p>Easy-to-use, extremely versatile, a very active support team and forum, plug-ins being constantly developed to extend its uses. I tried the program, and bought the full version within a week. Forget the rest and try the best, you won't regret it.

  NeoBook provides a friendly interface that is both simple for novices to use and robust enough to satisfy developers who want to create complex applications. I almost hate to call it a "program development tool" because novice users can easily create rich multimedia applications by inserting objects on the screen and using the readily accessible scripting wizards to do the rest. I purchased NeoBook because I am not a programmer but needed a relatively painless way to develop complex applications such as computer-based training modules and engineering calculators. Unlike other programs of its kind, NeoBook has a strong support network that has developed various freeware and shareware plugins to extend its functionality. I was pleased when I discovered that NeoBook makes development easier by transparently doing a lot of things "behind the scenes". For example, I changed a reference in one of my scripts and thought I would have to tediously locate and edit each reference. When I looked NeoBook had done it for me!

  Cons

  There are a few additional scripting commands I would like to see added.
