• Great 'Retro' Game!

  Comes with a clever AI that learns as you play Comes with a built in Screensaver! Built In Track editor The racing physics is pretty good too.

  Cons

  This is unfortunately the latest and last version of the game, it was never developed beyond this point and is no longer supported by the developers, although they do have a (commercial) Xbox version that was developed out of this. No stunts!

  Summary

  This is a fun game that plays and feels a lot like Motorcross Madness 2 but free. The graphics are dated but is still quite playable.

  Everyone is complaining about this game saying the graphics are poor and what not, but what you guys need to realise is that this game was not made to be the best ever game available. This game was an investigation into the use of the Backpropagation Algorithm and also the Genetic Algorithm within games. Yeah the graphics aren't stunning and yeah it's kinda difficult to play but suck it up. As to "no difficulty setting", try leaving the game running for an hour and then come back to it ;) The Artificial Intelligence within this game learns from each and every lap it plays as well as each and every lap you play.

  CNET needs to check their downloads. There are some that don't download because it can't find the download and some of their downloads (if I can download it) don't work after you install it.
