The ancient scriptures 'vedas' say that the moon represents the human mind. Hindu astrology uses moon position to study and determine its effect on people. A key component of this study is the calculation of 'nakshatra' (star corresponding to the moon position). Lunar Astrology calculates the nakshatra (asterism) in real-time for your current location and additionally calculates the nakshatra for previous and next day for planning purpose. Moon position is calculated using precision algorithms and interpretation of position based on astrological concepts is performed using algorithms developed by Satyanarayana Sarma Chivukula.
