Worst software ever

- The concept is very useful. The hardware seems great, but impossible to set up.

- All the software. Just impossible to get through all the immensely unfriendly set up process. In addition it is completely buggy OS 10.8.1. I am quite disappointed with this company which does address any of the consumer complaints it receives.

- Worst software I've ever used. Updating my remote on my Mac (OSX) is about a 2 hour process. Buggiest software I've ever used in my 35 years of life. YA MIGHT WANT TO WORK ON THAT, LOGITECH. Horrible.

- Had a pro service come out and they updated it and changed it from small dish to cable and it now works great with my apple TV PS3 big dish and FTA plus my old VCR.No more screw ups when I hit the button

- Actually works. Downloaded all the software needed to operate the equipment in my entertainment center - even an obscure subwoofer from Radio Shack that is 12+ years old.
- Cons
- There's is nothing to mention. Understand that this remote is replacing 3, 4 or more remotes. That means there will be a lot of buttons no matter what, so those buttons might be a bit smaller or more crowded than the ones you are replacing.

- After setting up the various elements of my system, most everything works (might take a few cycles of the help function).

- Some functions still seem to be missing on my DVD playback and my PS Audio Perfect Wave gear is still an unknown quantity to the unit, but at least you can easily start watching my Dish system without grabbing two or three different remotes.

- Not perfect but it works better than any other integrated remote I've tried and it's easy to set up on your home computer. Bravo. Still looking for a few tweaks to make it work with everything in my system.
