Version: Lattice 10.2.1
This review was originally posted on VersionTracker.com. Lattice may be the most beautiful screen saver in existence. It can be optimized in a variety of ways, all sensational. I've used it for many years over various Mac OS entities. In more recent incarnations there were problems. It would often go to black after five minutes. However, with the latest version of Lattice and Mac's Snow Leopard it works like a charm. Lattice is not only spectacular, it's free. I hate to gush, but I can't tell you how awesome and gorgeous Lattice is.

This review was originally posted on VersionTracker.com. I like this effort. I cannot stop messing with the presets to find new effects. It does make me want to go out and get a new graphics card. I am running a MDD 2 x 867MHz with 1.5GB RAM but the graphics card is the stock 32MB video RAM. I guess it isn't enough for my two monitors, because most setting result in an unacceptable lack of smoothness -- the motion is jerky. The jerky movement makes the screen saver unusable as a day-to-day screen effect.
