Keepy combines features from tools like Instagram and album creation tools so you can save art work and other projects from your children for future access. With the exception of some privacy concerns, the app is very well made, considering nearly everything you'll possibly need to save those often priceless moments and projects for later.
When you open the app for the first time, you need to create an account. This is easy and only requires an e-mail address and password. However, when creating a child account -- required to start adding images -- you'll need to enter gender, birth date and an image -- something parents may balk at. Of course, you can always add fake images and birthdays, but it feels like an unnecessary requirement. After this, you can start adding the keepies, which are very well made. You can take a photo, edit it with built-in tools and filters, and then add a short story (audio or text) and other tags, before saving it for your child or sharing it with fans. The sharing functions are optional, but allow you to connect with other parents or family members to show off what your children have been up to.
The interface in Keepy is fantastic, the tools are fast and streamlined, and the features are very well thought out. If it weren't for some odd choices in the signup and sharing processes, the app would be a perfect companion for any parent who wants to save pictures of their child's best productions for the future.
