• Much better now.

  Pros

  When I first got VPN Unlimited, connection was very ifffy. Tried almost everything and had finally come to the conclusion that $39.00 was down the drain. However in the last year or so, upgrades to the app both Android and Windows 10 have resulted in a solid (no pun intended) connection. Note: I only run this when I am on a public or simi-public network. But on my laptop it has been connected now for 3 days and not a single problem.

  Cons

  None now. It seems they have gotten the app fixed.

  Summary

  Works great now, but this has not always been so.

  I guess you could say it kind of does what it claims. But....

  .....if the computer goes to sleep for any length of time, on waking the VPN is unresponsive, requires a force quit, and then maybe works again.

  So, it works, except when it doesn't want to work.

• Useless - Disconnects Frequently

  Can't think of anything good.

  Cons

  Disconnects constantly, resetting my database connection. Lots of lost time and work.

  Summary

  I paid for a lifetime subscription and that's wasted money. The service is so unreliable I can't use it anymore.

  Got a great deal - 3 years for $60 Many locations to choose from Can use torrents

  Disconnects often - at least twice a week

  Summary

  Couldn't resist what I thought was a great deal - 3 years of service for the price of 1 year of Private Internet Access.com. It seems you get what you pay for! In an entire year of PIA, the service went down only once. In only 1 month of VPN Unlimited, the service has been disrupted at least 10 ties - no exaggeration. AND a restart/reboot is often necessary to get the service running again.

  Pros

  I have been using the product for more then a month now and have had no problems. I am using Windows 8.1 on 2 machines one a i7-2600K based machine and one a 4 year old netbook with 2GB RAM and a atom processor and it works fine on both machines. I have never yet had it fail to connect when I tried. Note when it comes to VPNs I am a novice.

  Does not seem to implement any fancier features.

  Failed, so I reviewed the FAQs, which did not match the product. Uninstalled the client, reinstalled it, did not solve. Contacted support on 11/06. Support referred the issue to their developers. Still waiting.

  Pros

  VPN unlimited is really a good product However,when connected it works flawlessly.Initial 10 days are trial free and it is unlimited. Worth giving a try. Its reliable.

  Cons

  Even the latest version 2.32 required V9 windows network adapter TAP from OVPN technologies. Requires C++ 2008 After command Run and services.misc ,the system does not show. It may require frequent Unistal and re-installation again.

  Summary

  Good once connected and keeping in view the 10 days trial and other good features like adding days if linked to Face Book or Twitter etc. make it a good and viable option.
