Free, simple.

The application looses data.
Summary
For my applications, I need to connect two COM ports with a null modem cable. So I connected COM1 & COM2 and started my applications. For a short time, it was working. However after some seconds of testing, the application looses data. Sending retuns no errors however receiving can only seem to get the first 4K of the 8K buffer. I tested it on two computers with the same result.

Summary
Downloaded this to emulate some COM ports to test some software I was writing in Visual Basic. Set it up in two port mode, fired up Hyperterminal on one port and talked to it via my VB application. Worked perfectly first time.
