  movies will not download, so what is the point. i may figure out a way, but so far watching movie or copy url will not work. DO NOT USE CNET. ADWARE ADDED on most all unless it has a direct download link. ABSOLUTELY NO HELP ON SITE.

  WILL NOT DOWNLOAD MOVIES. DO NOT USE CNET. ADWARE ADDED. still have found nothing to download movies with that is stable and free or otherwise.

  HAVEN'T YOU KNOWN THAT CNET STARTED BUNDLING SOFTWARES WITH ADWARE? Whenever an "installer enabled" icon appears ON the Download button, it means CNET will bundle adware along with the product. Download Flashget from it's homesite, and it's a clean installer.

  Pros

  doesn't take over the browser like other download managers tend to do.

  Cons

  i have to battle the program when it comes to a specific download folder. after setting the download folder I want it works fine for a while. Then it suddenly begins dropping the downloads into a different folder and I have to go back in and reset the download folder. Then its fine for a while and then switches download folders again. I dropped it in favor of another manager.

  too much hassle for it to be worth it.

  Very limited options for download path.

  Summary

  I've only been using this for about a week. So far it seems to work fairly well. It will hog bandwidth if you don't limit it, but I guess that's OK if you want to get maximum download speed. My biggest gripe is that it insists on making a default download directory "C:\Downloads\". You can change the drive it saves to, but if you want it to save anywhere but "n:\Downloads\" you have to change it every time you start a new download.

  Support and Contact tabs on FlashGet website are full of broken links. The email address to contact FlashGet is invalid and none of the FAQ and user manual links work.

  Do not waste your time with this software. Find another download manager software.

  Has good features; Speed limit, elegant interface, speed limit, export/import downloads ... etc

  Cons

  Poor interface; Most features (e.g. speed limit) are not accessible from any menu! Couldn't find schedule feature Settings windows font is very uncomfortable and can't be customized
