Fireebok Data Recovery is designed to scan your hard drive for lost files, allowing you to restore accidentally deleted, lost, or moved files, even if the hard drive shows as corrupt or destroyed in your system.
Quick start and scans: After installation, Fireebok Data Recovery starts quickly and allows you to run a scan in just a few seconds. More in-depth scans of broken or lost hard drives will take longer, and the longer it's been since you last reformatted, the longer it will take. But we were nonetheless impressed with the speed of the scan.
Browse and recover with a couple clicks: It takes only a few moments to scan through the list of files that the software finds. There is a Recover button in the bottom-right corner you can click whenever you find something you want to get back. A number of files showed up as "corrupt," so they couldn't be restored. But many more were recoverable, even though they had been intentionally deleted from the hard drive.
Minimal information provided: It's not always clear why something cannot be restored or what happened to it in the first place. Additionally, because of the nature of the file structure on a Mac, it might take some time to dig through all of the folders to find the specific file you are looking for. These are small issues when you are looking for a vital file you thought was lost forever but can complicate the software's use.
If you have accidentally lost an important file on your Mac, or if your hard drive is no longer working properly, download Fireebok Data Recovery for Mac and run it to see if those files can be pulled back from the brink. We were impressed with the success rate in our tests and experienced no bugs or crashes with the newest version of OS X installed.
