Editors' Review

This totally free, nature-themed screensaver earns our respect on a few different levels. You can probably guess Dolphins and Whales Screen Savers's subject matter simply by reading its name. Not only does the program give you underwater shots of these animals in their natural environment, but you'll also see a few spectacular images of dolphins and whales breaching against an awesome sunset. The program includes plenty of pictures to look at, and almost all of them appear to be professionally shot. We like the energetic theme music, but the actual recording seems to lack crispness in the high-frequency range. We can't find reason to complain about this app's feature set, as it lets you determine the image interval; set the type and duration of the transition effects; select any image as wallpaper; and configure the size of the pictures. Best of all, Dolphins and Whales Screen Savers won't cost you a dime, meaning it stands as a fine option for all lovers of marine animals.
