• Not Free, Very Limited Software

  Pros

  1. Interface is easy to adapt to and use 2. Curved text system is passable 3. Allows importation of your own art, which, if you have any design experience, certainly helps to give a nice professional looking touch.

  Cons

  1. This program is NOT free. Not at all. Once you've printed 3 or 4 labels, the program locks you out from printing any more and asks that you buy a key, and if you're like me, you're gonna be pretty mad about this. The license is a steep $30 USD for just this program, and considering its numerous shortcomings and limitations, $30 dollars is a complete rip off. 2. As mentioned above, this software is simply too limited to justify the purchase of a key. There is no guides to see the edges of the CD if you import art, which you'll want to do if you don't want your CD to look totally lame. There's also very little in the way of text formatting, there is no line or letter spacing to be found here, and that really makes it difficult to add a tracklisting to your CD, among other things. 3. The unregistered version of the software won't print out labels without a huge watermark on the bottom of the CD, advertising what software was used to print the label.

  Summary

  Overall, this is a decent program marred by shortcomings and the fact that it isn't freeware. If this software were truly free, I'd probably give it 3 stars, but since it isnt, I can't just give it a pass. The fact that they want thirty dollars for this software just isn't acceptable to me.

• Disc Label Outline Invisible

  Has some nice features.

  Cons

  The dick label outline, when selected, does not show clearly when I print a CD label. This is not a printer problem, since Roxio's Label Creator displays disc outline that are easy to see.

  Summary

  The inability to print clear disc outlines is a deal breaker for me.

  It seems to have a lot of features

  I couldn't get it to insert an image on the CD label. It comes with a bunch of other bundled software I wasn't even expecting. I ended up uninstalling all of them, which were mostly not needed.

  Summary

  It may do what you want but be prepared to spend some time on it.
