FTP, SFTP, WebDAV, Cloud Files and Amazon S3 browser.
Cyberduck is an open source FTP, SFTP, WebDAV, Cloud Files and Amazon S3 browser for the Mac. It features an easy to use interface with quickly accessible bookmarks. The outline view of the browser allows to browse large folder structures efficiently and you can quickly preview files with Quick Look. To edit files, a seamless integration with several external editors makes it easy to change content quickly. Both Amazon CloudFront and Cloud Files from Rackspace can be easily configured to distribute your content in the cloud. Many OS X core system technologies such as Spotlight, Bonjour and the Keychain are supported and a large number of translations makes you feel at home.
-Search function does not work. It only searches the folder you are in. What's the point when servers are made to store files in possibly thousands of folders? You will never be able to easily search for any file. Hopefully, your files are very well organized or else you will never find them.
-I have approximately 300GBs or more of files to transfer and it is taking forever because Cyberduck freezes and crashes constantly. I sometimes have to move one file or one folder at a time because it will crash.
-You cannot select more than one file on the transfer list to remove so you have to waste time clicking each file and remove. Waste of time. When the list filled up, it prompted to remove all the listed transfers. Wonderful feature... except... surprise, it freezes. I have to continually manually remove the items on the list. Also, it lags when there are more than 3 items on the list, making the process even slower.
Summary
This program is probably good if you rarely use it or only have a few files to store. If you have 100s of GBs of files DO NOT USE THIS PROGRAM!

Cons
Utterly opaque UI.
Summary
I've been a computer professional for 25 years, a lot of that providing level 1 through 3 end user support, and the Cyberduck UI makes no sense to me. Find something else, this one will make your life miserable.
Worked great! Yay!

Pros
Fairly intuitive interface. Drag and drop. Did the job. And it was FREE!
Cons
Didn't seem to like to upload too many files at once. Sometimes didn't seem to want to Overwrite.
Summary
First, I downloaded FileZilla but it couldn't make a connection to my main file locker. So I got CyberDuck and it had no problem with the same address. Sometimes it would overwrite a file like I wanted it to, but sometimes it gave me an error and I had to delete the old version first. Other times, if I tried to upload too many files at once, I'd get an error, but that could be because of my own wireless network at home. When I use Comcast's own web-based uploading, I have to do one file at a time and then choose each one individually and make it "public." An enormous pain. CyberDuck uploaded them as public, saving me alot of time, and I could drag and drop. Love it!
CNET is wrong. It's a FREE app! It's a GOOD app.

Pros
Connects to all kinds of servers, including Rackspace Cloud and Amazon S3. Fast, intuitive, and free. I love the "edit" function, which lets me open and edit remote files locally, and Cyberduck will automatically re-upload the edited file. Everyone I work with now simply refers to it as "The Duck"...
Cons
Cons? It's awesome and free.
