First time I tried Cross DJ, I was lost. The features are here, but not really easy to understand.
But it's extremely powerful once you understand how to sync songs, and even videos ! That's what I really love.
When I do a party, I like to let people mix their own music.
It's really a party enhancer soft ! Try it !

Ok so I'm not rally a professional DJ, I simply have a Numark Mixtrack Pro 2 and I use it for private parties (40 to 60 people)
I used to actually spin vuinyls, tehn I stopped and then I got back to DJing when I bought my controller,
I first started with Virtual DJ but GOSH it was too complicated and it felt just...wrong. So now I discovered Cross it is so amazingly simple
I love the color waveforms, looks neat and beautiful
ALl the buttons are simple to understand
Mapping is very well made, very responsive
Also it has iTUNES in it to I dont need to create new playlist
Cons
I dont see too many cons so far, I tried other software but this one is way cooler
anyway...

Some comments aren't honest.
We must pass great deal of time searching to understanding the various tricks, and I don't even mention the management midi functions.
No updated document, no manual.
Although the product has arguments (video, yep..), it shall nevertheless remain behind Traktor and others.
The stability isn't good. (I have the latest version 3.0 FULL).
Briefly, the product is only enough "correct" to play in his bedroom, but never in a professional environment.

Started with the free version. Really like the look and feel and the simplicity of the software. I upgraded to Cross DJ full version and I love it!

Pros
Incredibly stable. I downloaded it and use it for a birthday party. It has found all my music in 1 click and then works great. I used the automix features which was very convenient for stepping away from my desk. Now I think I need to buy a controller, just waiting for the money x-)
