BookBuddy lets you create an organized list of all the books in your library, create and save notes, and keep track of which of your books is on loan to a friend. Just scan the books' barcodes to enter them into the app, and then file them, mark them as loaned out, or enter any other information you'd like to save.
This app has tons of features packed into a clean and streamlined interface. It comes preloaded with five sample entries, so you can get an idea of how it works and which types of information you can access when you enter your own books. When you're ready to do that, just tap the + icon in the upper right-hand corner of the screen, either from the main screen to add books unfiled, or under the Personal or Professional tabs to file books in these categories. To add books, you can scan their barcodes through the app, search online, or enter information, manually. The scanning feature works well, and you can choose to scan one at a time, or to scan multiple books in a row before saving them all to the app at once.
Each book entry includes the name of the author and publisher, the genre, when the book was added to the app, and a link to more extensive online info about the book. Additionally, you can mark each entry as unread, being read, or finished, or you can make a note of who you loaned it out to and when. BookBuddy is free, and it's a great way to keep track of your book collection.
