"Didn't work"

Pros

None. Waste of time.

Cons

Monitor screen comes up, but no data after two days. Installation puts toolbar on browser, changes search engine. Provided no option to avoid this. Also put unwanted icons on desktop.

Pros

Documentation is horrible. There are a couple of web sites; one refers to screens that don't exist in the current version... this is an all-around train wreck.

Cons

As others have noted, if you have Win 7 don't bother. Worse, when I uninstalled it, the Win 7 uninstaller didn't get all of it, so I now get a 'file not found' error upon logging on.

Summary

I'd pay for a decent program. This is not it.

Pros

None to report - I do not want to use something that fills my machine with unwanted programs.

Cons

Filled with unwanted spyware/malware that self-install without letting you even have a CHANCE to say "no" to them.

Summary

A huge disappointment; CNET should warn us that there might be unwanted software BESIDES the one you came here to download. After having to install CNET's downloader, I proceeded to install the so-called Bandwidth Monitor Pro and I was NEVER prompted about the spyware and malware that it was coming with. In my case, a search bar/browser plug-in and three other crapware. My ZoneAlarm went crazy during the install, I should have trusted it and just aborted; sadly, I turned it off and now my computer will never be the same again, because who can tell with 100% certainty my spyware removal programs got everything?

TL; DR: If you want to infest your PC with malware, be my guest and download this program...

Pros

claro-search was relatively easy to uninstall

Cons

* though I opted out by unchecking the box, it set the homepage and default to claro-search
* it installed 3 malware programs (claro-search, claro ADT, Browser Manager) which took me about 2 hours to delete fully* from my browsers
* always displayed zero bandwidth usage (Lenovo t61p, Win7, en_US, while watching vimeo.com HD on built-in Wifi)

Summary

Very disappointed in CNET allowing this kind of malware on their site.

"Very Easy To Use"

Bandwidh monitor pro does not support newer windows like windows vista,windows 7 or beyond.

Summary

Very useful to see how much bandwidth you are using.But there last update was in Jan 25, 2005,so I do not think there will be any newer updates anytime in the near future.There support e-mail does not work,because I try sending a e-mail to ask a question and that was to see if there would be any updates to support newer windows and e-mail never got to it destination,>>Delivery to the following recipient failed permanently<<

Works well, simple interface and well worth the money (I bought it). Works fine with XP.

Cons

Doesn't work with 7 but there are alternatives for 7 anyway

Pros

I just want something for Win7 that would show wireless connection speed in the taskbar as the old Network Connections icon did in XP. This has a lot of info, but not that functionality. Still useful.

Cons

Can't be configured to imitate old Network Connections icon showing just connection speed.
