Asoftech Speeder for Windows

Asoftech Speeder is a unique utility that can change the speed of Windows and online games and applications. It can speed up or slow down a game by 256 times in either direction, giving gamers the ability to slow the onscreen action to improve their reaction times or speed it up to challenge their reflexes and skills. Unlike overclocking, this software doesn't make any changes to your hardware or involve any risks to your PC, and it doesn't change your settings.

Speeder's interface is a basic dialog with a few simple buttons and controls. You browse for the program you want Speeder to modify, set the speed on a slider, and click Apply. Settings, Help, and Quit buttons round out the front end. Hot keys make the program ultraquick to use itself. Speeder is easy to operate and works well, too, but here's the thing: though the bullet might be slower, so are your character's reaction times, and whether you can avoid getting shot still depends on the in-game ballistics. You've had time to think about your move, though, so your reaction will be quicker when you resume normal playing speed, improving your chances of dodging or deflecting the slug. Likewise, you can speed up play to run ridiculously fast, but the threats pop up that much quicker, too. But with a little bit of practice, skilled gamers can exert supernatural control over time and speed in simulated environments.
