  A very versatile album creator. Imports files seamlessly. Allows for changing photo order on pages. Built in photo editor for simple changes. Can provide for catalog descriptions of images.

  Icons are very small -- hard to read. No undo button if you make an error.

  Summary

  Overall, I have found this to software to be a great album creator. I was able to easily import several large image folders (several with over 1 gig in size)with ease. The program allowed me to move images around be on pages and between pages with little problem. NOTE: Small images can hide behind larger graphics so a user must move images around sometimes manually to "find" them again. Background images can be installed on album pages although they are custom for each page. There is no "universal" background installation for all pages. One nifty feature is the ability to e-mail either an individual graphic or a whole page. Web albums can also be created and uploaded from the software, but I have not tried this feature. There is a bare bones palate of image editing tools that provides for basic image manipulation. Cropping, image rotation, hue saturation, and brightness tools are built in. Some image filters are built in (e.g., sharpen, sharpen more, soften, wax, and gloss, etc.), but for more sophisticated image editing tools you will need another software program. Images on album pages can be framed (or "presented") in with a border chosen from a extensive collection of borders. Individual images can be tagged with addtional infomration regarding the place the photo was taken, size, date, with space for additional comments. The help menu is on-line so without Internet access you may be lost if you need help, but most features are easy to discern. The major complaint I have about the software is that the icons and menu tools seem to be terribly small. I have gotten eye strain after using the software for an hour trying to read them, but this is something that may not affect a user with better eyes. Unfortunately, there is no zoom feature available for the icons and toolbars although this feature is available for working on images. Summarizing, this is an excellent program for the cost. I have found it to be very useful and easy to use for album creation. Considering the cost of the software I would recommend it to other amateur photographers or anyone with a large collection of photos they wish to easily put in albums and install on the web.
